Wolverhampton u11 boys got off to a great start in their first league game and threated to overwhelm the previously unbeaten league leaders in a one sided first half in which Tailon Simpson Taylor and Rory Butler proved to be a real handful for the opposition. Indeed once Rory had completed his hat trick the game looked over but you can never take anything for granted in football and to everyone's surprise East Birmingham came storming back after the break to level the score at 3-3. The lads could have settled for a point but we went all out for the winner and Rory spurned two gilt edged chances before Joel Badu latched on to a rebound and found the back of the net to the delight of the travelling supporters.
