Wolverhampton Under 12 Girls produced a determined and resilient performance in a highly competitive National Plate encounter against Swansea, pushing all the way to the final whistle despite a narrow 2–1 defeat. The match was evenly contested from start to finish, with neither side able to fully dominate for long periods but if anything Wolverhampton probably looked the stronger before the break and went into half-time enjoying a spell of ascendancy despite the game remaing

The Primary girls were back at Bodymoor Heath for their first Friday evening games of the New Year and once again these five teams were so well matched that goals were always going to be at a premium.
